Shine-A-Light for Children
We are a UK-based children's charity striving to be the 'salt of the earth' for children in need all around the world, particularly in third world countries where children's needs are seldom addressed and their rights often recklessly infringed upon.
It is our endeavour to stand up for the right of children & young people to fulfil their potential by taking action to shine light into every area of their lives where there is need.
This includes:
- provision of Health facilities to give children a healthy start in life
- working with communities to establish Orphanages and Care Homes for abandoned children
- helping to provide educational and vocational training centres for children and young people
- assisting children and their families affected by natural disasters
- helping young people secure their future by working to relieve unemployment
We seek to do what is needed, where and when it is most needed and could have the greatest impact!
Our goal is to help create a world fit for children!
